As an interdisciplinary artist I create intentional and conceptual designs, communicating with varying lexicon. I always consider the greater meanings behind my work. Being able to communicate in a visual language in addition to our words carries power. I use art and design to create emotional responses within the viewer. Often, I use pastels and a light color palette to foster brands and graphics that are welcoming and eye-catching for the viewer. I embrace typography and visual hierarchies and design elements that easily guide the reader in certain directions. I find strong value and importance in the process of graphic design. From the creative brief, to the research process, a developed and refined concept, to creation, along with implementing feedback and finalization of a design; I believe that each set it valuable in the creative process.
